Be Connected (Chakra Flow)

A vinyasa flow class built around a study of the chakras. Each week focuses on one chakra. The Monday class is slower with time spent in visualization, mantra, and movement practices to help us connect to the energies of the chakras. The Friday class will mostly repeat the content from Monday but at a brisker pace. Class includes short talk on each chakra, information on its colors and correspondences, mantra, yantra and mudra.

Forrest Yoga (LONG-TERM SUB: MARIA BASSET)

Forrest Yoga®, created by master yogini Ana Forrest, is a deep inspiring practice that balances active sequences and sustained poses to build both strength & flexibility in the body. Each class focuses on specific areas & issues, giving special attention to alignment and taking care of oneself. Deep breathing and abdominal exercises work to fortify the core, helping students go deeper into poses, and feel sensations that often go unnoticed. Pose modifications and hands-on assistance are given to tailor poses to meet individual students’ needs. This is a great practice for clearing toxins from the system, learning to work with injuries, stabilizing muscles, relaxing the mind, and energizing the spirit.

Classes are heated to 80-85 degrees.
All bodies & all levels are welcome.

Be Yin (LONG-TERM SUB: SATYA)

Experience deep quiet in the body and mind through Yin yoga. Yin yoga is a different approach to yoga asana. It is less about doing and more about being and feeling. Poses are held for extended periods of time using props such as blocks and bolsters to experience a shift in the fascial layer of the body. The fascia is where emotion, experience and memory are stored in the physical body. Yin yoga is not restorative yoga. Yin yoga is designed to bring you to your edge where you will practice stillness, observation, and suspension of judgement. The practice also includes meditation. Come with an open mind to experience a different way of moving and holding your body in space.
