Be Connected (Chakra Flow)

A vinyasa flow class built around a study of the chakras. Each week focuses on one chakra. The Monday class is slower with time spent in visualization, mantra, and movement practices to help us connect to the energies of the chakras. The Friday class will mostly repeat the content from Monday but at a brisker pace. Class includes short talk on each chakra, information on its colors and correspondences, mantra, yantra and mudra.

Yin Yang Yoga (Starting Nov. 7)

Half-hour of Yin followed by a half-hour of Yang for a full mind, body and soul workout. In this hour long class, you will reap the benefits of 30 minutes of yin yoga stressing the connective tissues to become more elastic followed by 30 minutes of hot yang vinyasa to build strength.

Be Empowered 2 (Hot Power Vinyasa)

Heated vinyasa flow at an intermediate level. Includes chaturanga and upward dog. The practice starts with seated centering, warm ups, and sun salutations before moving into flowing sequences and increasingly complex poses and/or transitions.

Fundamentals 1

This class is designed for the absolute beginner or anyone looking to strengthen the foundation of their yoga practice. You will explore the fundamentals of common postures and movement that form the basis of Vinyasa yoga in a supportive and caring environment. Begin class with a gentle warm up then slowly transition from one posture to the next with an opportunity to pause and learn correct alignment. End with a cooling floor sequence and relaxation. Start your practice and refine your practice here.

Yin Yoga & Meditation

Experience deep quiet in the body and mind through Yin yoga. Yin yoga is a different approach to yoga asana. It is less about doing and more about being and feeling. Poses are held for extended periods of time using props such as blocks and bolsters to experience a shift in the fascial layer of the body. The fascia is where emotion, experience and memory are stored in the physical body. Yin yoga is not restorative yoga. Yin yoga is designed to bring you to your edge where you will practice stillness, observation, and suspension of judgement. The practice concludes with meditation. We will learn and practice many different styles of meditation, so each week may offer a different style of meditation. Come with an open mind to experience a different way of moving and holding your body in space.
